This past Saturday, ADP hosted our 2nd Annual Back to School event, proudly sponsored by the Beyond the Hurt Foundation—and it was a tremendous success!

Thanks to the incredible teamwork of our staff, partners, and volunteers, we were able to serve over 300 community members, including more than 80 adults and up to 250 children. Among them was one remarkable family of 12 who joined in on the celebration.

Families received:

  • Backpacks filled with school supplies

  • School uniforms

  • Free haircuts

  • Toys and treats

  • Access to valuable resources to kick off the new school year with confidence

This event was more than just handing out supplies—it was about creating a supportive and uplifting space where families felt celebrated and prepared.

Partnership Spotlight

We’re deeply grateful to Lorena Gutierrez for initiating and nurturing our incredible partnership with the Beyond the Hurt Foundation. Her leadership was instrumental in making this event possible.

Volunteer Appreciation

A heartfelt thank you goes to Suzie, Alicia, and Lourdes, who played essential roles on site. From welcoming families to assisting with resources, your dedication set the tone for a warm and inspiring day.

Carrying the Mission Forward

At ADP, we believe every child deserves to start the school year with confidence and excitement. Events like this bring our mission to life—reminding us of the power of community, care, and collaboration.

To everyone who contributed their time, energy, and heart: thank you. Together, we’ve helped students and families start this school year strong.
