After School Program 2020-2021

Academia del Pueblo is excited to announce the return of the After School program this year. The After School program provides a safe, fun after school experience for students, while contributing to academic achievement, leadership development and overall student success.

The safety, health and wellness of our staff, students and community continues to be our top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since we are currently utilizing remote learning during the school day, we will begin the After School Program remotely as well. We felt it was important to provide the additional academic support for our students and allow them to socialize with their friends outside of the virtual school day classroom setting.

The Remote After School program will begin on October 19, 2020.
Applications are being accepted from September 28th to October 12th

ADP will begin the After School program with the one-hour tutoring component from 3pm to 4pm, and will implement the Enrichment portion of the program from 4pm – 5pm as the program develops. This is a new learning experience for all of us. Should pandemic conditions improve over the next month, we hope to implement an outdoor, Saturday kickball league for grades 3rd – 8th. More information to follow.

Program Format Once School Is Open for In-Person Learning

The After School program offers four different components for students and adult family members:

1) a 2:45pm healthy snack for students after school.

2) a 3:00pm academic enrichment component .

3) a 4:00pm recreational enrichment component.

4) an adult family member enrichment component. Additional program information will be sent out to families as we get closer to reopening for in-person learning.
